For Turkey Day!! Thanksgiving is my most favorite holiday. Good food, good company, relaxing, what more could you ask for?? I am extra excited this year because we will be hosting Thanksgiving at our new home. We will have a nice big group to feed, and we say the more the merrier! Two weeks and counting!!!

It is an early Christmas gift from my mom. Isn't it BEAUTIFUL!! She takes each picture and shrinks it down to fit in the frames. So this is handmade and 100% unique! I am so grateful for other who share their amazing talents. I can't wait to wear it. Now I will have a constant reminder of the beauty of the Lord's House.

Happy Birthday Mom!

Yesterday was my mom's birthday. I can't tell you how much I love my mom. i think she is truly the most amazing person ever born. She is the best mom a child could ask for. If I am even half the mom she is I will be happy. She is my most favorite person to hang out with. (well next to my hubby.) She makes life fun. She is so much more than just a mom to me. I love her with all my heart and am so grateful my Heavenly Father sent me to her.

Shower fun!

Last Saturday, I threw a Baby Shower for a friend at church. It turned out really cute and we had so much fun! Her little guy will be here in a few days, so now she is all ready to go. Here are a few pics.

No Poo Update

Well it has been months since I posted this article about not using shampoo. since then I have tried to be better about not washing my hair everyday. It is really hard. I love the way my hair feels when it is clean. I don't think I have totally "trained" it to be non-oily, but we are getting there. I now shampoo every other day. It still doesn't look super fabulous on the no poo days, but I like to believe it looks better now than it did back in April.

Thank you for all your comments and recommendations on my original post. I have yet to try any kind of product to soak up the oil on my off days. I usually wear my hair up so it doesn't bother me as much. I still wish I washed daily, but every time I go to do it I think of all the moths I have put into re-training my hair. Although I wonder if it really has done any good. Is my hair any healthier? Does it have less oil than it did? I don't think so. How long is this re-training thing supposed to take?
