Man of the hour
On Wednesday we celebrated my step-dad's birthday. He is such a wonderful man. He married my mom when I was 16. So he has actually been may father longer than my real dad. (Since he was killed in a car accident when I was 7.) He is an amazing human being with an unspeakable amount of compassion and love. He has taught me so much and I am eternally grateful he is my dad. Love you Verne!

Chantelle, I can not even begin to tell you how much I Love You. You still are picking up my slack, just like you did when you were a little girl. I had every intention of doing a Birthday Post for Verne, and time got away from me. Maybe I'll do one this weekend. But you my wonderful daughter, bring tears to my eyes with all the love and kindness you show to others. I wish more people, (myself included) could be more like you. Love, Mom
