Thank you, thank you, thank you

Yesterday my parents came up to check out our new house. Since my dad happens to be the handiest person alive, I asked him if he could install a few things. "I'd be glad to," is always his reply. So we got there and went right to work. He installed our chandelier in the dining room, switched out our fan in the living room, re-keyed all three of our deadbolt locks, and installed a garage door opener. (FYI, there was no previous system in there, so it took hours to do it ALL from scratch!) Plus while he had a little "down-time" he vacuumed all four of our very large bedroom and the hall way! I cannot thank him enough!!

Elaine's husband Joseph came over to help him so Verne wouldn't have to do it all alone. Thank you Joseph!! He has worked non-stop while his family has been visiting family in Utah, and he woke up early from his nap to come and help us. He stayed right up until he had to go to Bishopric Training at 7 pm. I think he was running on about 4 hrs of sleep. Did I mention he had to be back for a 16 hr shift at midnight!! I am so grateful he found time to help us. Robert doesn't get home until 6 pm or later, so I am thankful Joseph was more than happy to lend a helping hand.

I called in a friend, Casey, to help with paint color selection. My mom, Casey and I ran to Sherwin Williams while the men and McKenzie were working hard. We came back and threw some colors on the wall. We finished the kitchen...

The pictures are a little blurry because I took them with my phone. Thank you Mom and McKenzie for all your help with this little project.

Tonight we are going to the temple and then picking up my sister Courtney to help us paint all day tomorrow. Wish us luck!
